Wanda and Jericho have had a couple of encounters, not necessarily romantic but definitely magical in nature. The first was after Voodoo had been killed and he was resurrected by Dr. Doom to help Wanda get back on her moral axis when she had been affected by an inversion spell. They would then have another encounter when she would go to him for assistance during the Empyre storyline.

After all of this, the two would find themselves working together on the Avengers Unity Squad and they had an instant connection. With everything Wanda has been through she has hit a wall in her path to be better and she has been working hard to balance it all out. Brother Voodoo has also been working a path and ended up on yet another occasion, working with Doctor Strange and becoming the headmaster at the Strange Academy.

Wanda and Jericho end up having a heart-to-heart conversation before their romance officially began where she expressed that no one has understood both sides of her. They’ve always only picked one side of her to understand. And she was formally looking for that balance between the woman that is Wanda and the witch that is the Scarlet Witch and she asks Brother Voodoo to take that journey with her to which he happily agrees and they share an on-panel kiss. She also is put on staff at the Strange Academy working next to him.
Challenges and Growth of Scarlet Witch and Brother Voodoo
Is that not a magic connection?! They are definitely meant for each other. And even still, Brother Voodoo has been through a lot as it pertains to his brother. Witnessing his brother’s death and then his brother going to the side of the Hand during the Empyre storyline, was a lot. And now he has someone who is able to let him be who he is. They are the equivalent of the quiet boyfriend, loud girlfriend couple we see at restaurants. Wanda would definitely be the one to make sure his order is correct. And she would be loud about it. I definitely hope to see more of their romance in the comics because their connection to each other is undeniable and honestly, should have been a long-time lover of hers from the get-go. It only makes sense.
