With the Anime NYC 2025 hype starting this weekend, it made sense to talk about what anime The Blerd Team is watching. If your anime watchlist is chaotic like mine (I am notorious for starting, stopping, then resuming shows), then here’s a clean plan to get caught up on what to watch, where to stream, and what your timeline is already arguing about:
The Fall 2025 Anime Heavy Hitters (US Release Dates):
Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle lands September 12. Tanjiro and friends return to finish the fight with Michael Jackson… I mean Muzan after an explosive fight at the end of season 4. Expect this to be released at your favorite local movie theatre.
Chainsaw Man: The Movie — Reze Arc slices into October 29. Just in time for Halloween 2025 in the United States, Chainsaw Man The Movie follows the first season of the anime. Season 1 of Chainsaw Man is an easy watch and you still have time to catch up if you haven’t watched it yet on Crunchyroll. Expect the movie to be released exclusively in theatres.
My Hero Academia Final Season starts October 4. After almost 10 years, the conclusion of Class 1-A’s journey comes to an end in Season 8 of MHA. You can find out if Deku can save the world from All For One’s destruction on Crunchyroll.
Regardless of your taste in anime, there are plenty of series keeping momentum the next few months: Dan Da Dan S2 (out now / in progress) , Solo Leveling S2 (finished / out now), Spy x Family S3 (October) , One‑Punch Man S3 (finally! This October) , and Devil May Cry S2 (trailer leaked but expected early 2026).
